Aimed at Filipino migrant workers in Trieste and their peers, this exhibition aims to explore how/why/when monuments are built, maintained, polished, celebrated, forgotten, demolished and redefined. The residues of this re-enactment will be collected and edited, in order to then create a publication or a film. Karaoke is planned during the launch of the publication or film. Practicing art, especially for those who come from a working-class background, is considered a luxury.
