A show for young audiences and families that transports us to the dreamlike, imaginative world of medieval knights, the inspiration of storytellers, and the tales of paladins. Astolfo is a boy who spends his time in his room drawing maps of fantasy worlds. His only companion is SanGio, an imaginary friend who appears in the moonlight. The other children shun Astolfo, who dreams of becoming a great paladin like his cousin Orlando. When a squire deceives him into an unlikely squire school, Astolfo has the chance to prove his worth. Only he, thanks to his imagination, can restore Orlando's sanity and save the kingdom from his madness. “Sing, sing, storyteller, the song of three stories, which tells of the victories of the valiant paladins against the Saracen Moors... Long live Rinaldo, the victor! Long live his wife, Biancofiore! Long live Baiardo and the paladins, long live the hen with her chicks, long live the castle that no longer exists, long live the magician Urluberlù!” Emanuele Luzzati
