Marco Polo, a Venetian explorer who in the 13th century reached the Far East, crossing the unknown world of Asia. He came before Kublai Khan, Emperor of the Tartar Kingdom, who asked Marco to tell him about his long journey and the cities he visited. Marco Polo begins his tale by describing the sensations that each city, with its scents, colors, flavors, and sounds, evokes. A long journey, a long tale through an imaginative mechanism that artificially plays with the possible combinations of reality's complexity and disorder. A journey in search of the ideal city in which to enjoy life and escape the cares, a city of desire and its immediate fulfillment.
