The Four Seasons is an artistic project dedicated to children, where theater, dance, and music meet to create a show dedicated to nature with its many forms and colors. When I was asked to direct this project, I was immediately inspired by dance theater, an old love of mine. Starting from Antonio Vivaldi's famous symphony, I wanted the audience to be able to fully enjoy some of the pieces, and dance allows this by enhancing every musical moment. I paired Vivaldi with Max Richter, a young Anglo-German composer who in 2012 published "Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons," a contemporary reworking of the four seasons that I adored from the first listen.
