On Thursday, October 2nd, at 6:00 PM at the Teatro Bobbio, as part of the Amici della Contrada di Trieste program, the book "Livio Cecchelin, a Life at the Piano" (Luglio Editore) will be presented. The book, written five years after his death and ninety-five years after his birth, marks the beginning of his career. Author Nadia Pastorcich will be in conversation with Alessio Colautti, Michela Vitali, and Andrea Binetti. The book seeks to capture the essence of Cecchelin the man and the atmosphere of the theater, particularly La Contrada, which is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary. Livio Cecchelin, a concert and touring pianist, was a defining figure in his era, sharing the stage with such notables as Joséphine Baker and Mina. The preface is by Claudio Cecchelin (his son) and the afterword by Guido Cecchelin (his brother).
