The project is a brief dive into the world of Gianni Rodari, a world of acute lightness, vision, the debunking of clichés, and moral and civic tension, which is here revisited and conveyed through the intersection of sound and live music, visual language, words, and movement. Inspired by some of Rodari's writings, such as "Le favolette di Alice" (Alice's Fables), "Giacomo di Cristallo" (Giacomo di Cristallo), and the "Enciclopedia della Favola" (Encyclopedia of Fairy Tales), which he edited, the project features a musician and an actress/performer who interact visually with the animated drawings created by illustrator Chiara Spinelli.

The dramaturgical structure allows for moments of audience engagement. Sound effects and live music, curated by maestro Dario Mennella, accompany the narration and interact with gestures and action, supporting the evocation of characters, places, and atmospheres. They can become rhythmic games to be created together with the young spectators, while magical objects come to life. A series of poetic and humorous illustrations by Chiara Spinelli, video-animated by Diego Franzese, projected and continuously interacting with the actors' bodies and the stage elements, will guide and counterbalance the development of the individual stories, becoming dramaturgy themselves. An engaging and poetic tribute to the man who dedicated much of his life and imagination to children and their possible worlds on the centenary of his birth.
