The years? They pass. Fashions? They pass. Loves? They pass. What remains are the contributions paid to the state and the desire to return to the stage. Three actresses (Ierse, Fullin, Ussi), encouraged by no production, decide to play three women they only partially resemble. The comedy takes place in our own times, therefore adventurous and extremely fragile. Plot: a mutual friend passes away and leaves three friends a hideous little house surrounded by a forgettable mountain panorama. We are not in Cortina, nor Courmayeur, nor even Limone Piemonte. There are no ski slopes, chairlifts, or luxury shops around, but a conifer forest where even blueberries have decided not to grow. How to pass the time then? A draining herbal tea and many memories to arrive at a great truth: even a friend can be a blade waiting for us in the darkness. The protagonists have only three chairs on stage: so no pyramids, palm trees, or elephants. “And it's a real shame,” the three rascals reveal, “because to end on a high note, we wanted to perform Aida.”
