Recently renovated, the Teatro dei Fabbri is a prestigious venue for theatrical and musical events, a small gem linked to the Teatro La Contrada, located in the heart of Trieste's old town. The theater takes its name from its location, Via dei Fabbri, which leads from a green space with the evocative name of Piazzetta Cornelia Romana to Largo Sartorio. This ancient corner of the city comes to life on weekend evenings when the theater's wooden sign, the work of the extraordinary artist Bruno Chersicla , lights up to mark the start of "aiFabbri," an intimate and experimental festival dedicated entirely to contemporary theater.
