"Insights and digressions from the award-winning firm Carpinteri e Faraguna"

by Giacomo Segulia from Carpinteri and Faraguna

directed by Giacomo Segulia

with Enza De Rose, Adriano Giraldi, Omar Giorgio Makhloufi, Marzia Postogna and Giacomo Segulia

with the extraordinary participation of Riccardo Cepach

music by Tony Kozina

On the occasion of the Contrada's 50th anniversary, Trieste audiences had the opportunity—thanks in part to the exhibition at the Schmidl Museum—to recall the history of this glorious theater. Part of this history featured the works of Carpinteri and Faraguna, creators of the Maldobrie with its now iconic characters, from the Cittadella to much more. With El passager dimanda se sarà bel (The Passerby Asks If It Will Be Nice), we want to play with the words of the award-winning Caripinteri and Faraguna duo, recalling pieces of that history, losing ourselves in their unique Istrian-Dalmatian dialect, paying homage to a repertoire so beloved by audiences and worth remembering. And before the actors take the stage, a cultured and ironic prologue by scholar Riccardo Cepach, a curious and attentive reader of the authors to whom this event is dedicated.
