Interview with the Past is an innovative format that transports audiences to the heart of historical events still shrouded in mystery. Through an imaginary interview led by a host/narrator, the show gives voice to figures from the past, allowing them to explore and reflect on crucial events.

In the specific case of "The Case of J.J. Winckelmann," the audience is invited to participate in an immersive reconstruction of the murder of the renowned archaeologist and art historian. Although the confessed Francesco Arcangeli was convicted, the motive remains unknown.

The show blends live performances, video projections, and interactive technologies, immersing the audience in a television studio to relive Winckelmann's last days: from his departure from Rome to his tragic stop in Trieste.

Taking on the role of a modern media jury, spectators will analyze testimonies, historical documents, and staged reconstructions, called upon to reach their own verdict and question the inconsistencies of the original trial. A unique theatrical experience, combining dramatic storytelling with the language of television, transforming the audience from mere spectators to active participants in the reconstruction of history.
